The Australasian

The Australasian Circa 1858 is a private, former hotel now offering a distinct and exclusive accommodation and dining experience in the heritage precinct of Goolwa, one hour's drive south of Adelaide, South Australia.

Overlooking the river and wharf, The Australasian Circa 1858 affords to travellers a unique and restful oasis containing vast upper and lower viewing decks, five elegant accommodation rooms and The Australasian Dining Room, serving Asian-infused Modern Australian dishes to house guests nightly and to the public on Saturday evenings.

With its private upper floor and outside deck, with views to the river and hills, upstairs offers private house guests four elegantly furnished exotic suites.  The downstairs suite offers a private deck overlooking a small tranquil garden.

Each suite is individually decorated and includes such luxury features as Ecosmart fires, rain showers, mini bar, lcd tvs with dvd/cd, freestanding baths and chef prepared breakfasts.
